What To Expect During Your Headshot Photo Session
Step #1. PRE-PRODUCTION: Schedule a pre-shoot conversation to discuss your specific needs and goals.
Step #2. SHOOT DAY: On your shoot day, ensure you arrive a little early. Worrying about being late shows up later in your photos – yes, it really does. If you’ve chosen to have a makeup and hair person, they will be here prior to your arrival. Time in their chair will not be counted toward session time.
Step #3. PHOTO SESSION: I will guide you throughout the session. I’ll provide direction on best poses, body language, gestures, and expressions to best capture your best self. Background and outfit changes will be included as planned to ensure you’ll have a variety of styles to choose from.
Step #4. POST-PRODUCTION: A few days following our session, you’ll get a chance to review watermarked images that have passed our quality standards. From those images, you’ll choose those you’d like to have retouched. This way you’ll be sure to get those great new shots.
Retouching normally takes 2-4 days – if you need a quicker turnaround is required, we can usually meet those requests.
